Said he was from Windows IT service about a virus or connecting to some server somewhere. had an Indian type accent and I could not get much info from him, hard to understand. Wanted me to got to my computer so he could 'show me the problem' at which point I asked how he got my phone number and then I hung up.

Claimed to be a company that provides support for Micro Soft and said that I had a virus on my computer that they were informed about and wanted to help me to get rid of it. I asked how they could match up my home phone number with my computer that has this virus on it and he could not answer. He then kept asking me if my computer was on and I said, can't you tell? I reported this number to the Do Not Call list site even though he never got around to selling me something. I received calls from this number for weeks before I finally answered.
