Scammer claiming to be paypal, saying you have a pending transaction

THESE PEOPLE CALLED ME 3 TIMES AND INSISTED I GIVE THEM MY SSN BECAUSE MY NAME WAS PART OF A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION. THE GUY ACTED LIKE HE COULDN'T HEAR ME AFTER I REPEATEDLY ASKED WHAT IT WAS REGARDING. HE THEN HUNG UP. I CALLED THEM BACK AND A WOMAN SAID MY CASE WAS ALREADY SENT OUT AND I DENIED ALL CHARGES ON THE CALL AND DISCONNECTED THE PHONE(WHICH I DID NOT). I THEN CALLED BACK A THIRD TIME AND TOLD THEM I WAS CONTACTING MY LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND SHE AGAIN HUNG UP. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS COMPAMY IS CALL SAYING THEY ARE A LIGATION COMPANY

Got call stating case pending, press #1 to speak with them or have my attorney contact them at 801-317-1623. The call left on the answering machine does not give the company name calling, or who is suppose to get this call.

the person leaves a message one ur phone in a mans voice the name Howard Garble and when u call back u get some woman name Brooke Wilson they had my info in my maiden name when u wont confirm the info the tell u the send ur case off and pressing charges im going to my local police and filing identity thief charges
