He's calling people to intimidate them

I received a call from this number,didn't answer just let it ring never left a voice mail,glad I didn't answer it according to these others who were also called.

Received a voicemail stating his name was Steve Swenson from UPS delivery and he has a few questions about a package. We are not expecting anything from UPS but if you have ever tried to reach them its nearly impossible and never a direct number. This guy has scam written all over it, especially after reading the other comments!

Claimed to be from the police and that I hit their car

First, I am a real estate agent with home listings. I just received a call from this number saying they were Dave Swanson and they were trying to verify that they could drop a package off. He said that when he looked up the address my name was on it but another person's (my client's) name was also registered to the address. I said well I did ship some staging materials to the house but I have no idea why my name would be showing up on her house. I said her name is the only one on property records. He asked 3 times during our conversation if the house was vacant and if she lived there. He also asked what her new address was. I said I am not comfortable giving out my client's new address to someone I don't know. - It was at this point I started getting huge red flags. Most delivery drivers literally toss your package, hoping to aim for your porch, and speed away. This guy claims the delivery driver left a note a few days ago and no one answered, he was trying to see if the house was vacant and he could leave a package - ummm what?! Just leave it or return it to the sender. I am a real estate agent with a sign in the front lawn and its no one's business if the house is lived in or not, deliver the package and move on. I would *never* give my client's new address to some random person, what an invasion of privacy and safety concerns. Red flags.

First call was to my husband. Said his name was Dave Swenson and he was a UPS driver. Needed know where we wanted a package delivered? However, we had no expected deliveries. Also, UPS drivers would never call AND they wouldnt have our cell phone number! Two days later, the call was to our adult daughter who has a different address and last name. This time he said his name was Dave Carlson, an Amazon driver. He wanted to know if he could deliver the package. She ordered for her uncle and her parents address. Since she did not order a package for her uncle, and again, Amazon drivers do not have your cell number and dont call. Dont know what his intentions were, but the whole family has blocked this number!!!

Said it was the United States Post Office
